Sky of Clouds sees a whimsical feel enter Erin's work with the shifting scale from the deep foreground to the masses of clouds on the horizon. Our sense of place in this landscape one of being cocooned among tall grass, but with a vista before us- big sky, big country. We see her use more of those rich earthy colours, the piece has seams of ochres and iron ores, cobalt blues and moss greens, all drawn from the Scottish land in this dreamy and captivating scene.
