With Under The Canopy Erin presents us with an immersive work in which all that verdant foliage, so broadly rendered in an almost abstract form, draws our gaze deeper into her field of vision. Our eyes don't necessarily land at any particular point of focus in this work, but they drift around the scene and that somehow perfectly evokes those moments where we find ourselves in the shaded woods on a sunny day, calmed and cooled in amongst great clouds of greenery.
